Dr. Jamie Hoelscher, Ph.D., CFE, CIA

Jamie Hoelscher is an Associate Professor at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska in 2013. She teaches predominately Accounting Systems, Data Analytics for Accounting, and Internal Auditing. Her research and teaching interests focus on incorporating practice-based data analytics into the accounting curriculum and she has recently published in Journal of Accounting Education, Journal of Emerging Technologies in Accounting, Journal of Fraud and Investigative Accounting, and Journal of Accountancy among others. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
