Heather M. Lively, CPA

Heather Lively is the CBIZ-MHM Teaching Fellow and a scholarly practitioner at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She has over ten years of experience teaching financial accounting and auditing courses. She is a frequent finalist/recipient of student-nominated teaching awards.

Prior to joining academia, Heather was an auditor with Ernst & Young (Tampa) and aims to integrate that experience into the classroom with hands-on activities such as The Integrated Audit Practice Case. She has numerous publications, primarily in practitioner journals such as The CPA Journal and Journal of Accountancy.
