Heather M. Lively, CPA

Heather Lively is the CBIZ Faculty Teaching Fellow and a scholarly practitioner at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She has over fifteen years of experience teaching financial accounting and auditing courses. She is a frequent finalist/recipient of teaching awards including the Provost Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award at the University of South Florida.

Prior-to joining academia, Heather was an auditor with Ernst & Young (Tampa) and aims to integrate that experience into the classroom with hands-on activities such as The Integrated Audit Practice Case. She has numerous publications, including a 2024 educational piece in AAA’s Issues in Accounting Education.
